Previously, when a user submitted feedback, you had to refresh the page or wait a few seconds to see it.
Not anymore. As soon as something happens, your notification bell rings — no waiting.
Which events trigger real-time notifications?
- New feedback received — Instantly delivered to admins.
- Feedback status changed — Visible to the feedback author and admins.
- New comment added — A preview of the comment appears in the notification.
How fast is it?
Previously there was an average 15-second delay. Now it's under 1 second. Truly real-time.
What if something goes wrong?
If you need to disable real-time notifications, you can turn them off with an environment variable without redeploying the app. When disabled, notifications won't arrive but the app continues to work normally — you'll just see changes by refreshing the page.
